Waiting
O God,
We are waiting
for Jesus to come.
But there is so much we
can do while we’re waiting.
We can serve,
we can help,
we can give,
we can embrace,
we can forgive, and
we can love.
Let our waiting be
an active waiting.
Let our waiting reflect the
fact that while we wait for
Jesus, he is already here with
us, showing us what to do.
Amen.
