O God,
Thank you for the technology that enables us
to see the stars better than we ever have before.
Thank you for the pictures that give us a
glimpse of the wonders of this vast universe.
On the one hand, let us respond with humility
as we realize just how small we really are.
On the other hand, let us respond with gratitude
that, small as we are, you love and care for us.
Help us remember that we are not lost in the cosmos.
Help us remember that you know right where we are.
Amen.
