O God,
Help us learn the lessons
that life is trying to teach us.
It can be a hard teacher.
Let us be good students.
Help us learn
how to trust you in all circumstances,
how to work together to make things better,
how to live attentively and openly, and
how to follow Jesus through it all.
Amen.
