The Lord’s Day
O God,
Deepen our sense of humility.
Enhance our awareness of our need.
Increase our awareness of others’ needs.
Make us ever more aware of how much we need you.
Make us ever more aware of how much we need each other.
In humility, let us depend on you more than on anyone else.
In humility, let us help anyone who depends on us.
In humility, let us accept help from others on whom we depend.
Help us always to remember and to live in light of
the fact that it is always all about all of us,
together.
Amen.
