The Lord’s Day
O God,
In our worship of you today help us to distinguish your voice from all of the other voices that demand our attention.
Let our spirit be quiet enough to hear your still small voice.
Let our spirit be courageous enough to hear your challenging and demanding voice.
Let our spirit be trusting enough to hear your comforting and affirming voice.
Let our spirit be focused enough to hear your voice calling us to follow Jesus in the way of service, sacrifice, and love.
Amen.
