Might Not
O God,
We might not have been given this moment—but we have been.
We might not have been made aware of your love for us—but we have been.
We might not have been granted the privilege of knowing you—but we have been.
Even with all that we have been given we might not take full advantage of the opportunities to live fully in the moment, to respond to your love with our love, and to grow in our knowledge of you.
You certainly have given us this moment.
You certainly have made us aware of your love for us.
You certainly have granted us the privilege of knowing you.
Help us to grow in gratitude so that we certainly will take full advantage of the opportunities you have given us …
