A Prayer for Tuesday, November 18, 2014

Don’t

O God,

Help me to grow in my faith
to a point where I can say

that I don’t worry,
that I don’t fear,
that I don’t manipulate,
that I don’t plot,
and
that I don’t attempt to control.

Help me to grow in my love
to a point where I can never say

that I don’t care,
that I don’t feel,
that I don’t try,
that I don’t give,
and
that I don’t attempt to help.

Amen.
