Third Day of Lent
O God,
When we stand in your light
we can see ourselves as we really are
but
we can also see our shadow,
the projection of ourselves on the world.
Help us to know the difference.
Then form us, shape us, and grow us
so that
the self we are
and
the self we project
become more and more identical.
Amen.
