A Prayer for Thursday, February 6, 2014

Useless

O God,

Make me

empty,
weak,
and
useless

or perhaps make me aware and accepting of my

emptiness,
weakness,
and
uselessness

so that I can know that it’s all

from you
and
not about me

and so I can be open to all you want to do

through
and
beyond

my strengths
and
abilities.

Amen.
