Christmas Day
O God,
Thank you for the privilege of receiving and giving gifts at Christmas.
Let our gift-receiving and gift-giving make us mindful of the great gifts that you give to us and of the great privilege of sharing your gifts with others.
Thank you that as we grow older it means more to us to give than it does to receive; help us to grow in our faith and discipleship so that our lives will be more about giving than about receiving.
Amen.
