Seventh Day of Advent
O God Who Comes,
Thank you that you come to us in order to correct us.
Keep us always aware of the ways we are thinking, talking, and acting; keep us always aware of how you would have us become more mature in all those areas of our life.
Lead us to repent—by your grace to turn around and go the other way—when you show us by your Book, by your Spirit, and by our conscience that we need to do so.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
Amen.
