Twenty-Third Day of Advent
O God Who Comes,
We praise you that in your coming to us you give yourself to us; we praise you for the love, grace, and mercy that you give to us in your coming to us.
We thank you that because you are present with us we are able to be your presence with other people. Help us always to come to them ready to give ourselves away for their sake and ready to give them the same love, grace, and mercy that you give us.
Let our presence with other people be a constant offering of ourselves to them for your glory, for their sake, and for our good.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
Amen.
