O God,
Open our eyes to what surrounds us: a beautiful world, fascinating people, and you—your Spirit reminding us all the time that we are loved.
Open our eyes to what surrounds us: an endangered world, broken people, and you—your Spirit reminding us all the time that we both need help and need to help.
Help us to look honestly and courageously at what surrounds us; give us eyes to see.
