Move On (Twenty-Fourth Day of Lent)
O God,
As we reflect on our lives we are led to acknowledge and to confess our sins; keep us alert to the temptation to live in the past and even to wallow in regret over our wrongdoings.
Help us rather to live in the truth that if we confess our sins you by your great grace forgive our sins.
Empower us to move on in the power of your forgiveness, having learned from our mistakes and ready to follow you in great freedom and in great faith.
Amen.
