Twelfth Day of Christmas
For the great truths of which the Christmas Season reminds us, we give you thanks, O God.
Thank you that you so loved the world that you sent your only Son.
Thank you that you taught us of the dignity of our bodies by having your Son come in a body.
Thank you that you showed us the basic value of humility through your Son laying down his heavenly prerogatives to take on human flesh.
Thank you that you showed us in your Son what it means for your Church to be the Body of Christ in the world.
Thank you for these and for all of the other great truths of which the Christmas Season reminds us, O God.
Amen.
