Third Day of Advent
O God Who Comes,
We know that things are not what they should be; we trust that things will one day be what you intend for them to be.
Meanwhile, while we wait, cause our waiting to be an active waiting; cause us to do what we can to make things better even as we know we can’t make them right.
We live in hope that you will do that and that, when you do, we will know that our labor has not been in vain.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
