Twentieth Day of Advent
O God Who Comes,
Remind us today that joy springs from relationships, both our relationship with you and our relationship with each other.
Remind us also that relationships, while a gift, require work if they are to be maintained and if they are to develop and mature.
Help us today and all days to tend to our relationships with great care so that in them we can experience the joy that comes from gracious acceptance, radical forgiveness, and all other expressions of love.
Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!
