“To Carry His Cross”
Compel us, O God, to carry the cross of Jesus Christ as we live in this day.
Compel us, O God, to take up our cross and follow Jesus.
Compel us, O God, to live lives so filled with the grace and love of Jesus that we gladly give ourselves away day by day and moment by moment for the sake of that grace and love.
Amen.
“As they went out, they came upon a man from Cyrene named Simon; they compelled this man to carry his cross.” (Matthew 27:32)
